With the sponsorship of the Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI, Chairman Hee-Chan Ro), ‘Preview in SEOUL 2013(PIS)’, which will be held from September 4th(Wednesday) through September 6th(Friday) at COEX B Hall on the first floor, has started its preparation for the upcoming exhibition.
  In this year’s exhibition, renowned international enterprises and Korean textile companies are expected to display competitive cutting edge trend items from SPA to luxury and functional material for outdoor clothing.
 
Opening a new chapter in new material…participation of the leading Korean Textile Companies
  With MONOTEX-SHIN HEUNG, SUNGMIN ENTERPRISE CO.,LTD, YOUNG TEXTILE.CO.,LTD, KYUNG WON CO.,LTD, Young Poong FILLTEX, ST ONECHANG and LUDIA CO.,LTD., companies that have been acclaimed in ‘Premiere Vision’ and ‘Texworld’ for their high quality items, ‘Preview in SEOUL 2013’ will offer high sensitive fabric reflecting on function and new fashion trend.
 
JK TEX CO.,LTD, Ducksan Enterprise Co.,Ltd, KAYJUNE COMPANY CO.,LTD, R&D TEXTILE CO.,LTD and many other companies will display various fashion material items that are widely acknowledged in global market. Furthermore, participation from SEOJIN TEXTILE CO.LTD and Y.M.K CO.,LTD which developed Shape-memory fabric using functional woven fabric will add diversity to the exhibition.
 
 Increased participation of international companies
 Lenzing, an Austrian company which mainly introduces eco friendly new materials developed by its affiliated companies Tencel and Modal, has participated the exhibition three years in a row. Moreover, TOYOBO COMPANY in Japan which has been a leading force of developing new synthetic fabric composite material participate ‘Preview in SEOUL 2013’
this year for the first time.
 
For Chinese textile companies including JIANGSU HENGLI CHEMICAL FIBER, ‘Preview in SEOUL 2013’ works as a bridge to gain a foothold in Korean market. Furthermore, participation from other countries such as Turkey, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia and Uzbekistan has ensued.
 
Invitation of sourcing managers of the Global Brand and Expansion of distribution channel

KOFOTI is actively engaging in collaboration with Shanghai International Trade Promotion Co., LTD. and CCPIT to attract foreign buyers from fashion industries in the Americas, Europe, China and Japan. In addition, sourcing managers from global apparel manufacturers has been highly welcomed to the exhibition.
 
At the same time, during the exhibition, various unit events such as seminars with specialists in new technology, new material and fashion trend will be held to yield synergy effect with the exhibition.
 
The director of KOFOTI, Mr. Young-Hwan Kwon, said “The expectation of this year’s Preview in Seoul from potential foreign buyers who are willing to expand their business with Korean Textile Companies after Korea-EU, Korea-U.S., and Korea-Turkey FTA is much higher than that of last year.” He also added, “To meet the expectation of buyers and exhibit participants, ‘Preview in SEOUL 2013’ will try its best to arrange business-centered exhibition and unit events.”
